The following letter was received from two young girls in Washington
State who held a collection in their hometown with their families and
friends. They collected cash donations to help sponsor a Mychal's Message
project after reading Shannon's story in Girls Life Magazine.
"Dear Shannon,
We have collected enough money to sponsor eleven people for the surprise
birthday party! We made sure we raised enough for exactly eleven watches
and lunches. Hope everything goes well!
